The HY-DH96N11B uses Mono N-Type 182?210mm half-cut bifacial cells built on Runergy’s 210R platform – offering higher efficiency, lower degradation rates, and better resistance to LID, LeTID, and PID compared to standard PERC panels.
A bifacial panel captures sunlight from both the front and rear sides, using reflected light from ground surfaces or rooftops. The HY-DH96N11B’s rear side can generate additional power depending on albedo (reflectivity) of the surface below – particularly effective on ground-mount systems or light-colored roofs.
N-Type panels are less susceptible to light-induced degradation (LID) and light and elevated temperature-induced degradation (LeTID), meaning they maintain a higher percentage of their rated output over time. They also perform better in high-temperature conditions – important for Texas installations.
