Frequently Asked Questions — Sigenergy SigenStor 9kWh Battery Pack

What battery chemistry does the SigenStor battery use?

The SigenStor battery pack uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP / LiFePO₄) chemistry — thermally stable, long-cycle-life, and safe for indoor installation. LFP is the preferred chemistry for residential and commercial energy storage.

What inverter does the SigenStor 9kWh battery work with?

The SigenStor 9kWh battery pack is designed exclusively for use with the Sigenergy SigenStor hybrid inverter. It uses proprietary Sigenergy communication and power connectors — it is not compatible with third-party inverters.

Can I add more SigenStor battery packs later?

Yes. SigenStor battery packs are fully modular and stackable. You can start with one 9kWh pack and add more over time, up to the maximum capacity supported by your SigenStor inverter. This allows you to right-size your storage at installation and expand as your needs grow.

Can the SigenStor battery be installed indoors?

Yes. The SigenStor battery pack is designed for wall-mounted installation in garages, utility rooms, or indoor equipment areas. Always follow local code requirements for battery installation clearances and ventilation.

What warranty does the SigenStor battery carry?

The SigenStor battery pack carries a manufacturer warranty covering defects and capacity retention. As an authorized Sigenergy distributor, Solwel supports warranty claims directly. Call us at (346) 432-4228.
