Damages and issues
Inspection: You must inspect for any visible damage before signing. Note any damage on the delivery receipt or with the freight carrier immediately! Signing without noting damage confirms acceptance of product in perfect condition, and therefore releases Solwel and the freight carrier from any liability for damaged or missing items. Take photos to document any damage. For major damage, refuse delivery.
Claims: If you notice any damage, please contact us as soon as possible after receipt (info@solwel.com) with supporting documentation. Solwel is not responsible for costs related to undocumented damage. NOTE: If circumstances don’t allow for immediate inspection, you will need to write “subject to inspection" on the delivery drivers' receipt. Any damage claims need to be filed with freight companies as soon as possible.
Transit Times: All in-stock products will ship from one of our locations in Texas (some shipments may ship from both locations, but you will not be charged extra!) Typical transit times for small packages and freight can range from 1-2 business days to 7-10 business days depending on your location, whether conditions, and carrier limitations. We will provide tracking numbers for all orders. If you notice any discrepancies in shipping time, please let us know as soon as possible so we can contact the carrier.
Lead Times: Some products, such as commercial products, are shipped directly from the manufacturer when out of stock. Lead times can take anywhere from 1-30 business days to source products. We will contact you with an estimated ETA to ensure your project is completed on time. If you have further needs or questions, please contact us at info@solwel.com.
Freight shipping: Applies to large items to heavy or long for parcel shipping. If your delivery address has special instructions or limited access (gate codes, dirt roads, etc.), freight shipping may not be available or incur additional charges. Most freight companies can ship to anywhere in the US, but exceptions apply. Some material may require equipment on-site to unload, Please contact us for unique shipping needs. Oversized shipping rates will be applied at check out.
Expedited Shipping should your project need expedited shipping, select expedited shipping options on the check-out page or come pick up your material Will-Call at any of our shop locations. We look forward to assisting you with your projects!
