The Sigenergy SigenStor Split Phase Hybrid Inverter is a modular, all-in-one home energy system that integrates a solar inverter, battery power conversion system (PCS), energy management system (EMS), and optional EV DC charger into a single stackable cabinet. Available in output configurations from 3.8kW to 11.5kW, it scales to match the load requirements of a wide range of residential and small commercial installations across the US split-phase market.
UL 1741 Listed | UL 1741 SA (Grid Support) | NEMA-3R Enclosure | 10-Year Manufacturer Warranty | NEC Rapid Shutdown Compliant
With four independent MPPTs and a 2:1 DC/AC oversizing ratio, the SigenStor maximizes solar harvest on complex roof geometries with multiple orientations or shading conditions. The system operates in both on-grid and off-grid modes with seamless switching, and features AFCI protection and NEC rapid shutdown compliance — meeting the safety requirements of all current NEC code cycles for residential solar installations.

The SigenStor can operate as a string inverter without batteries, providing installers flexibility to deploy storage now or add it later as a customer's budget allows. The modular, stackable design means multiple units can be paralleled for commercial-scale deployments. The integrated EMS provides precise load control, time-of-use optimization, and remote monitoring through the mySigen App. Compatible with the Sigenergy LoadHub for whole-home backup and smart circuit management.
Note: SigenStor battery packs and the bidirectional DC EV charger module are sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions — Sigenergy SigenStor Hybrid Inverter
What makes the SigenStor a "5-in-1" system?
The SigenStor integrates five functions in a single unit: solar inverter, battery PCS (power conversion), energy management system (EMS), optional EV DC charger, and grid interface. This eliminates the need for separate components and simplifies installation significantly.
Does the SigenStor work without batteries?
Yes. The SigenStor hybrid inverter operates in grid-tied solar-only mode without battery packs installed. SigenStor battery packs can be added later to enable backup power and self-consumption optimization.
Is the SigenStor compatible with third-party batteries?
No. The SigenStor inverter is a closed ecosystem designed exclusively for use with Sigenergy SigenStor battery packs. Third-party batteries are not compatible.
Does the SigenStor support EV charging?
Yes — the SigenStor supports a proprietary bidirectional DC EV charger module (sold separately) for V2H (vehicle-to-home) and V2G (vehicle-to-grid) functionality. This allows a compatible EV to act as an additional backup power source for your home.
What certifications does the SigenStor inverter carry?
The SigenStor is UL 1741 listed and meets U.S. grid interconnection requirements. Always verify local utility interconnection requirements with your installer before purchasing.
