EV Charger & Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) Solar Integration
Integrate your electric vehicle with your solar and battery system. The Sigenergy SigenStor is the only inverter in our lineup with built-in bidirectional DC EV charging — enabling V2H (vehicle-to-home) and V2G (vehicle-to-grid) functionality so your EV can power your home during an outage.
What is V2H (Vehicle-to-Home)?
V2H allows a compatible electric vehicle to discharge its battery back into your home — essentially turning your EV into a massive backup power source. A typical EV battery holds 60–100 kWh of energy, which can power an average home for 3–5 days. Combined with solar generation, V2H-equipped homes can operate indefinitely during grid outages.
Sigenergy Bidirectional EV Chargers
The Sigenergy SigenStor system supports a dedicated bidirectional DC EV charger module rated at 25kW — available in both CCS1 and NACS connector formats to cover most current EV models.
- Sigenergy SigenStor Bidirectional EVDC Charger — CCS1 (25kW) — for most non-Tesla EVs
- Sigenergy SigenStor Bidirectional EVDC Charger — NACS (25kW) — for Tesla and NACS-compatible EVs
The Complete Sigenergy V2H System
A full Sigenergy V2H installation includes:
- Sigenergy SigenStor Hybrid Inverter — the system brain
- SigenStor Battery Packs — 6 kWh or 9 kWh, stackable
- Bidirectional EV Charger module (CCS1 or NACS)
